Abstract
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as physical, mental, social and spiritual, and defines quality of life as the self-perception that the individual has about his life in a cultural, social, values, health, workand standards in which we live. Recognizing that living conditions influence directly to the health of individuals and quality of life, this research aims to analyze the conditions and quality of life of residents of a territory in the process of landregularization located in Babitonga Bay in Joinville/SC. The search is from exploratory and descriptive character, withcross-section and presents quantitative/qualitative results analysis. Carried out from a university extension project of the Guilherme Guimbala College in a landregularization territory in the locality who answered two questionnaires, one of them being the WHOQOL-Bref, to assessment of quality of life and the other to identify the socioeconomic profile and general living conditions. The results obtained showed that, at the time of the research, theparticipants' quality of life was positive, but very close to the average score (62.40%). It is believed that this fact is related to the coexistence with some difficulties, especially related to local infrastructure. The researchs howed that the expansion of access to basic public policies, such as some planned in the landregularization process can contribute positively to theim provement of condition and quality of life of thein habitants of the territory.
