The Absence of black people in Joinville's history
a look at the pages of a A Noticia's newspaper

Abstract
The present study tries to understand the way that A Noticia's, the oldest newspaper in Joinville, addresses the participation of the black population in the city's history. For this, the article makes a quantitative analysis of reports registered between 1951 and 2019. The goal is identify how they are treated and why. At the end, a reflection on identity, difference and reflections of a unique story was made.
