Abstract
The work The General Theory of Law and Marxism is an indispensable contribution to any Marxist debate in the legal field. For a long time in exile, today, recovered for the Brazilian debate after the translations derived from the centenary of the October Revolution, Pachukanis' great theorization brings seminal contributions to understand the law in the world of capital. An important part of this construct is its methodical path. In this sense, this paper explores the Pachukanian method outlined from the famous Introduction of 1857 and its convergence with an ontological approach traced by Lukács in Ontology of the Social Being.
