Abstract

The pandemic caused by the disease called COVID-19 directly affected the lives of thousands of people, becoming a public health emergency very quickly. The high transmission and spread of the virus that causes the disease made social isolation to be adopted as one of the most effective strategies to combat its spread. The impacts of the pandemic go beyond those biological, economic and social, also affecting the mental health of individuals. The online therapeutic groups and workshops were constituted as a tool for coping with social isolation and its consequences on mental health. In this sense, the objective of this work was to systematize and describe the knowledge obtained from the readaptation of on-site workshops in a CAPS II and in a Work and Income Generation service for the virtual format during training in the Multi-professional Residency. Significant gains were observed in the adaptation of groups and workshops to the online modality, with no great difficulties on the part of users with digital tools, concluding that such spaces can be as productive as those constituted in person.
