Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

In this special edition, we aim to celebrate the fifth anniversary of CerNemape – the ACE Maria da Penha Reference Center and Extension Center, a milestone that encourages us to deepen the discussion on women's health and protection. This edition was conceived as a space to illuminate and give voice to research and debates that are essential to building a more just and egalitarian society.
Simple and expanded abstracts must fall within one of the following thematic areas:
. Case Study: Analysis of specific cases involving the application of the Maria da Penha Law or other women's protection issues.
. Preventive Measures related to the Maria da Penha Law (Law No. 11,340/2006): Proposals and analyses on preventive actions for domestic and family violence.
. Interdisciplinary Actions in Prevention or Action: Discussion on the collaboration between Law and other areas of knowledge (psychology, social work, health, etc.) in addressing violence against women. Women's Health: Articles addressing women's physical and psychological health issues.
Research related to the Maria da Penha Law: Studies that deepen the understanding and effectiveness of the Maria da Penha Law in different contexts.
Research related to the Justice for Peace at Home program: Analysis and evaluation of the "Justice for Peace at Home" program, its impacts, and challenges.
Preventive Measures for Women's Health, Physical or Psychological: Discussion on policies and actions aimed at preventing diseases and promoting women's well-being.
