Abstract

The present work consists of a report from an internship experience in the 4th year of the Psychology graduation, carried out in a private educational institution in the city of Joinville (SC). The intervention project named as “Career: projecting talents” has as main objective to collaborate in the development of behavioral skills considered important for insertion in the labor market, as well as to discuss the ethical competencies necessary for professional and daily life, through teaching practice under the perspective of psychological science. The practices were carried out with a Technician in Administration class consisting of teenagers aged 15 to 17 years-old. For the execution of the project, the active methodology called Didactic Sequence (SD) was used, which aims to work a learning hypothesis listing the parent concept with child concepts. In this case, the theme worked was career, and within this theme there were sub-themes that complement each other, namely: the ability to work in a team; assertive communication; the professional and ethical posture; the constant search for knowledge and respect for diversity. The current world of work requires that professionals not only have technical knowledge, but also behavioral and emotional skills, so that they can meet the new demands of the modern world, which is why the development of the skills mentioned here are so important. During the execution of the project it was possible to notice a significant change in the relationships between the students, the class has a great potential for development and this perception was possible through the use of active methodologies and group and individual feedback, allowing students a space for it speaks to individual and collective construction. Thus, the importance of building the bond and affection between teacher and student is evident, as well the need for a psychological science perspective in teaching to contribute to this process.
