When doing the bibliographic survey on the SciELO and ANPEd, it was possible to notice that there were more articles related to the subject in focus on the SciELO website, which contributed to the enrichment of the research. A survey was carried out remotely with Early Childhood Education teachers, who teach children in this age, in the Centers of Early Childhood Education in the private school network of Joinville-SC. The research instruments used was a survey and approach of data analysis and interpretation for a qualitative research. Results show that the majority of teachers understand evaluation as a process only for children and do not as a practice that evaluate everyone involved, especially the teacher and its methodologies, which is fundamental for a constant improvement of the pedagogical action and consequently, for an improvement of learning and children's development.
